Image designs with small file sizes for online use which are fast loading. Most often these files only have a resolution of 72 dots per inch (dpi). If you try to take a 72dpi image and use if for professional printing, it will look grainy or pixilated.
Images of high resolution of 300 dpi and above are typically used for printing. To create high quality, offline hard copy printing without any pixilation, definition loss or distortion.
I like to say you want a logo or branding image that can grow with your business. One that you can use on your website, your business cards, your products, your office building, delivery trucks and corporate jets. I know, few of my clients have businesses that’ll require trucks and jets. But, you shouldn’t be limited because your business brand is tied to an unsuitable logo or business graphics design.
